Loop Session: See Wayne Snow in Songwriting Mode

Wayne Snow’s studio sessions are physical, expressive, and often a lot of fun. When he’s in songwriting mode, he deploys acting techniques to explore and recall his experiences, and teams up with a producer to resurface them into creative energy for his music. In March 2023, he and producer Golo Schultz got together for a Loop Session to show how they capture his ideas and sculpt them into song. 

The pair joined moderator Katarina Holmberg at Brewery Studios in Berlin for a live-streamed demonstration of how they made a track from Wayne Snow’s forthcoming album. You can see how they worked together to give form to his ideas – first by recording body percussion, then adding vocal improvisation to build up the track layer by layer.
