Mike is one of Australia’s most prolific techno DJs and a researcher, music producer and live show designer. His work has appeared on TV shows and DJ mix compilations, as well as in art galleries and dark, sweaty nightclubs.

Mike has used Live for every project since 2005. He has co-written with The Presets, performed on records by The Avalanches, and remixed a host of chart-topping Australian bands. His knowledge of Ableton Live has taken him to festivals around the world including Glastonbury (UK), Fuji Rock (JP) and Rock Werchter (BE). He has also helmed a critical DJ residency at Melbourne’s infamous Revolver since 2010.
Mike completed his PhD in Fine Arts & Music at The University of Melbourne in 2022, and published his first peer-reviewed paper—on the impact of 21st century performance technology on the production and performance of EDM—in early 2023.
