Cinematic New Packs from AAS
Two new packs from AAS are perfectly suited to widescreen sonic drama. Whether you’re looking for spine-tingling electroacoustic atmospheres, or serene pads that tug at the heart strings, AAS have collaborated with two composer / sound designers to create two sets of presets for a wide range of moods.
Entangles Species
Built using Tension, Entangled Species is a collection of arps, pads and effects that run the gamut from ambient textures to edgy sound design. Designed in collaboration with Canadian producer and film composer David Kristian, the set of presets are at home in any genre that requires a dark and sophisticated palette. Each sound comes pre-mapped with handy macros and is fully compatible with Push for instant live tweaking.
Angelicals
Angelicals lives up to its heavenly title with a host of retro-futuristic timbres that wouldn’t be out of place in a 1980s sci-fi classic; think Bladerunner with a dash of Terminator. Inspired by synth pioneers like Vangelis and Jean-Michel Jarre, these patches are all about morphing textures and dystopian soundscapes, with bright and cutting tones for more euphoric passages. Andre Ettema is the man behind the controls, with a portfolio noting various credits for high-end production work. The 101 presets again offer a host of macros and Push integration so you’re ready to dive straight into crafting your own sci-fi epic.
