Ableton at Sonar Festival, BarcelonaAbleton will be at Barcelona's Sonar Festival, June 18th - 20th, along with a crew of Ableton artists who are performing at events and parties throughout the festival. Come and hang out at our booth: Professional Fair, booth #2. We'll be there throughout the festival, presenting Ableton Live 8 and Suite 8 as well as the new Akai APC40 controller. There are two Ableton artist demos at 3:00 pm on Thursday and Friday, June 18th and 19th in the dedicated demo area in the lobby of the second floor of the CCCB at "Sonar by Day." Thursday's guest demo presenters are German shooting stars Exercise One (Mobilee), and Friday's demo will be hosted by Spain's very own electropunk, Digital 21. Barma Pro Audio, the Spanish Vestax distributor, will be at the Sonar Pro Tech Fair showing the Vestax range of MIDI controllers and especially demonstrating the powerful potential of the VCM600 when used to control Ableton Live 8. There will be a VCM600 + Live 8 workstation for attendees to check out during the fair, and on Friday, June 19th, the Ableton staff will conduct a series of short introductory seminars for both existing Ableton Live users and DJs or music producers who are looking for the ultimate tools for mixing, recording, editing and producing music.
