Stefan Knauthe is a music producer, composer and synthesist with a lifelong passion for electronic sound and music. Berlin based since 1988, he has contributed to the city's rise to become the capital of electronic music. Over the last decades Stefan has worked with many leading artists who emerged from this dynamic and inspired scene.

Ableton Certified since 2012, he concentrates on his career as an education professional. Stefan teaches several Bachelor’s and Master’s degree workshops at Catalyst Institute for Creative Arts and Technology (formerly dBs music) in Berlin. He also holds the lead role in organizing the electronic music summer school at Catalyst. As a modular synthesizer enthusiast, Stefan runs regular modular synthesis workshops with appearances at large conventions such as Superbooth and Loop.
Stefan offers tailored English and German language one-on-one and group training at any level of knowledge. He is an experienced online tutor and offers online lessons via Zoom. His field of expertise includes synthesis and sampling, music production, recording and mixing.
