Carlos Polania is a Music producer based in Bogota. While in high school, the impact that music and sound had on his life, drove him to begin experimenting with recording sounds and loops on a tape machine.

Besides composing, producing, and engineering in his studio, Altiplano, Carlos runs his solo project TURISTA and teaches Ableton Live, the software that he considers to be the backbone of his production setup.
He was introduced to Ableton Live in 2002, while studying at a school in the United States dedicated to Pro Audio. Over time, Live became the centerpiece of his productions and his studio.
Carlos' classes focus on using Live for making music, production, and live performance. They are held on sophisticated workstations in a classroom in Altiplano, equipped with computers and MIDI controllers for up to 10 students. Ableton Live courses and workshops are run from here year-round.
