After years of performing as a drummer in rock and jazz bands, he developed his own individual playing technique based on several music styles. In the following years, he established a unique teaching method (“play along”) and combined his music knowledge and skills to educate prospective musicians with a focus on creativity and improvisation.

After 12 years of teaching drums and percussion, as well as working as a sound designer in Tel Aviv, Israel, Roy moved to Germany and founded Drumnote Productions – Music Production & Sound Design School in Augsburg and Munich where he shares a lot of his personal live music improvisation and sound manipulation techniques.
