Modular Synth in Max For Live
From experimental music (including its role as a staple in the BBC Radiophonic Workshop) to prog rock, the EMS VCS3 was a standout synthesizer of the 1960s and 70s. Foregoing the patch cable architecture of most modular synths, the VCS3 featured a pin matrix for routing, three inimitable oscillators, and a host of other features and effects.
Taking inspiration from the VCS3, Point Blank instructor Daniel Herbert has designed a new modular synthesizer for Max for Live. Watch and listen to some outlandish, sci-fi sounds in the video demo below:
