Coming Back to Berlin for 2020 – Loop, a Summit for Music Makers
Loop, a summit for music makers, will return to its hometown Berlin on April 24–26, 2020 for three days of talks, performances and hands-on workshops at the intersection of music, technology and creative practice.
Loop is a place to make and experience music together, and to think and talk about what it means to make music today. What are our hopes for the sounds we create; who do we imagine will listen to them, and what effect will they have? What kind of relationship do we have with the tools we use to create music - do we shape them, or do they shape us? Loop is a global exchange of ideas among music makers, in which we set out to answer these questions and more. In the process, our collective idea of what music is and what it could be evolves, as we shed our preconceptions, acquire new perspectives, and learn to hear music and sound in fresh and exciting ways. Join us, and be a part of the conversation.
Ticket registrations for the limited capacity event will open in September. You can sign up for upcoming news via the Loop site.
*Please note: all Loop program activities will be in English
