Since 2006, while simultaneously completing a degree in jazz studies and performing live in Chicago’s underground electronic music scene, Brandon has sought to amalgamate the worlds of music technology and improvisational techniques into both his work and teachings.
His experience is divided equally between traditional pedagogical studies, experimental explorations and technology-based practices; working as a performing bassist, DJ, sound designer, studio/ live audio engineer, hardware/ software developer and educator.
Specific areas of expertise include performance-based improvisation, audio engineering, live sound playback, music production, sound design, modular synthesis, programing environments and musical instrument UI/ UX development.
Brandon is available for technician/ touring work, private studies, lectures, workshops, academic training and consulting.
