The Push Lab makes basic music theory, performance, and song structuring instantly accessible at student’s fingertips, allowing them to instantly produce results and focus on creative engagement. When students exit the program they will possess the confidence to capture all of their musical ideas effortlessly while creating and expressing their art.
SAE Institute Vancouver is a highly specialized, boutique school that teaches within the environment of a world-class recording studio. Inside our classrooms every student has their own fully stocked workstation, consisting of a 21.5” iMac loaded with the latest versions of Ableton Live, Pro Tools, and various plugins, as well as a dedicated Push.
The Push Lab is lead by Certified Ableton Trainer and Chief Instructor of the Electronic Music Program at SAE Institute Vancouver, Sam Ryan. Sam works with the newest technologies in digital audio, MIDI, and sample-based sequencing, combining his technical and artistic talents to fuse audio engineering with music production.
