Chord and Root Note Made Easy - New Rack and Tutorial from MacProVideo
Ableton Live's Chord device is a powerful tool for making chords that can then be easily transposed (and don't require hitting multiple notes at once). In a new tutorial, MacProVideo writer Gary Hiebner demonstrates how to assemble a MIDI Effect Rack for selecting different chords and root notes, using macro controls. The tutorial is also a great look at nesting Racks - a powerful feature in which one Rack can be inserted into another Rack. Finally, Gary's project is available for free download as a Live Pack.
