Ripple Drift is the creative alias of IDM producer, sound engineer and educator, Satyam Sangwan. Knowing the ins and outs of Live, Satyam actively produces and engineers artists, jams on analog synths, and mentors students. He runs his own music space, Silk Road Studios, in New Delhi.

Satyam is an Ableton Certified Trainer, Music Producer and Sound Engineer at Silk Road Studios where he mentors artists and producers and provides services in the area of electronic music production, arrangement, mixing and mastering music using Ableton Live. Outside of the classroom, Satyam loves making fun and engaging tutorials, podcasts and music courses on YouTube, Instagram (@silkroadstudioss) and their teaching portal.
Satyam’s creative alias is Ripple Drift, whose sound mixes intelligent dance music rhythms with resampled ethnic world music instruments and ecstatic synthesized sounds.
A summa cum laude graduate from Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain, with over 7 years of experience in teaching 100+ students, Satyam has developed a unique style of production and engineering knowledge which reflects in his teaching methods.
