Josh grew up playing drums and saxophone in the school band, but it wasn't until Josh roomed with all music majors at the University of North Texas that he started to really understand music and theory. After purchasing Live 7 in 2008, he quickly realized Live’s Session View was the key to sketching out the ideas he had in his head and turning those ideas into songs. He soon began writing songs and experimenting with many genres. Live and Josh have been inseparable ever since.
Josh offers one-on-one custom lessons in person as well as on Google Helpouts and Skype. He also loves to present Ableton Live workshops, especially on Push and Ableton Live Racks, and will travel. Josh enjoys helping artists of all backgrounds reach their full production and live performance potential with Ableton Live.
