dBs is proud to work in conjunction with Ableton to deliver Live 11 training programs to its degree students as part of its curriculum. Training takes place in purpose-built electronic music production suites with Ableton Live Suite, PUSH controllers and Apple iMac computers. dBs also has a large range of hardware synths, drum machines and effect processors, all of which integrate seamlessly with Ableton Live.
In addition to providing the very best facilities, expert tutors and an exceptional student experience, dBs prides itself on pushing the boundaries of music and audio technology. It is home to dBs Pro, an in-house commercial studio working on cutting-edge projects, and dBs-i, a research and innovation lab dedicated to developing socially-orientated, sound-based solutions.
All dBs centres have a range of purpose-built studio and production rooms with professional-level equipment from leading manufacturers, including:
- Mixing desks from AMS Neve, SSL and API
- Monitors from ATC, PMC, Neumann and Genelec
- Synths from Moog, Korg, Roland, Arturia, Elektron and Pittsburgh Modular
- Microphones from Neumann, AKG, Royer, Shure, DPA and Sennheiser
