Push Performances: Five of our Favorites
With the latest Push now one year old, we thought it was about time to round up some of our favorite performances from artists around the world. These videos have kept us both entertained and inspired over the past 12 months and we wanted to share them with you. Sit back, and enjoy!
DeLaurentis
We kick things off with Paris-based artist DeLaurentis performing 'As A Wink' from her new EP. It's an expert demonstration of how an entire track can be constructed in mere minutes with simple layering techniques.
Stro Elliot
Push wizard Stro Elliot has emerged as one of the shining stars on the pads (we highly recommend his recent Rhythm Roulette episode). When he stopped by Soulection Radio he turned out a finger drumming solo to remember.
Thomas Piper
We’ve been enjoying Thomas Piper’s weekly Push performance videos for over a year now. Our pick of the bunch is this soulful cut from back in May.
Rick Feds
Unfortunately, we don't know much about Rick Feds other than that he might be from Latvia (maybe?), but we’re keen to see more following this electrifying routine.
Sonøren
One of the first performances to surface with the new Push was Sonøren’s slow burner 'Fireworks'. Over the course of eight minutes Sonøren makes great use of some of the new sounds, filters and sampling possibilities introduced in Live 9.5.
For some bonus watching check out PUSH2PUSH’s rendition of Debussy’s Arabesque No. 1.
And be sure to send us any of your performances to our Facebook or Twitter, and check out our own efforts on our Youtube channel.
