Playing Spitfire Audio’s New Instruments in Live 11

Among the new sounds available in Live 11, sonic specialists Spitfire Audio have created three bespoke, Sampler-based instruments. Using expert recording techniques, they’ve made a string quartet, brass quartet and upright piano accessible for you to play from the comfort of your own project.

As well as faithfully recording the instruments with precise mic placements, they’ve taken great care to provide changeable macro parameters to ensure the output sounds just how you want it. In this video, Louis Rugg demonstrates some of the controllable features built into these expressive tools.

The Spitfire Audio Packs are included in Live 11 Suite, so can be downloaded directly from Live’s browser. Live Intro and Standard users can purchase the instruments separately on our Packs page.
