Cinematic Percussion: For the big screen and beyond

It’s not just blockbuster film composers who are raving about ProjectSAM; the orchestral sample library developers have gained admirers across an impressive spectrum of genres. Wu Tang’s RZA, UK dubstep’s Joker, and producer/songwriter Ryan Tedder – who’s written for Adele, J-Lo and Timbaland – are just a few artists heaping praise on their previous releases, tools that have set the bar for in-the-box orchestral composition.

Following on from two previous orchestral Live Packs, ProjectSAM have released Cinematic Percussion. They’ve curated the best orchestral and world percussion instruments from their admired True Strike and Symphobia series, and expanded them with previously unreleased trailer hits, tension builders and more. It’s a wonderfully authentic collection of multi-sampled percussion instruments: professional-grade tools and sounds to use in scores, soundtracks, or to add cinematic power to any production style.
