Hailing from Hiroshima, Sakura has made a lasting impact not only as a musician but also as an educator, shaping the next generation of musical talent. Sakura unveiled her EP 'Made of Air' in June 2020, further solidifying her reputation as a boundary-pushing artist. Her LP "C / O," released in 2022, garnered international acclaim, drawing listeners from across the globe, and has since been reissued on vinyl via Mule Music, a prominent label in the ambient and electronica scenes.

Sakura is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of musical talent. As a music production instructor at the Creative Media Institute in Yangon, Myanmar, she empowers aspiring artists to refine their skills and cultivate their unique creative voices. Sakura's dedication extends to workshops conducted at conservatories and music colleges across Japan, where she collaborates with her alma mater, Berklee College of Music, to represent the Japanese alumni community and teach courses in electronic music production and performance. In 2023, Sakura established her own production and performance curricula in 2023 to start teaching private instructions through her own platform.

An advocate for gender equality in music, Sakura has been dedicated to supporting women's rights in the industry, sharing her insights on prominent platforms such as Billboard Music. Her efforts to promote increased female representation in music were acknowledged by Forbes Japan, resulting in a feature article and her appearance on the front cover of Forbes Japan as one of "100 Hopefuls Saving the World."
