The idea of The Wire Magazine’s Invisible Jukebox is simple: a knowledgeable music journalist selects a series of tracks to play for an artist and asks them to spontaneously respond to what they’re hearing. The unscripted and often candid conversation that ensues can lead down all kinds of biographical, philosophical and musical paths.
At Loop 2016, we invited The Wire to conduct Invisible Jukebox sessions in front of a live audience.
