Ableton Live at Outreach 2009, Tirol/Austria
Outreach, in the heart of the Alps in Schwaz in Tirol/Austria, offers the perfect balance of workshops and performance opportunities to help artists and students develop their musical language. Outreach Academy 09 focuses on Ableton Live as the main software for its remixing, recording and post-production workshops. Students at all skill levels will expand their production and music chops and network with other artists in classes on Ableton Live, instrumental, voice, beatboxing, ensemble and VJ/DJ techniques.
The Ableton Live classes will be taught by Christoph Burgstaller and Gregor Ladenhauf (aka DJ Zanshin). Songwriters, vocalists, producers and instrumentalists are invited to work with Christoph on their own musical ideas, creating demos and laying out larger works. He will also share tips, tricks and tools of the trade in detail, with a special focus on home recording options and efficient production techniques. DJ Zanshin will show students how Live inspires new ideas and captures the creative flow. There will also be performance and jamming opportunities (students and faculty).
We're giving away two tickets for the festival and two tickets for the workshops. For a chance to win them, write to win@ableton.com with "outreach" in the subject line.
