MMiX Festival hosts Ableton Live and Cycling '74 workshop

The 127th convention of the Audio Engineering Society is coming to the Javits Center, and in the spirit of education and music technology appreciation, Ableton is co-sponsoring a free workshop at the MMiX Festival on October 10, 6:30 PM, at Theaterlab during AES. The festival will also feature live performances, media installations and additional workshops by Dubspot and Cycling '74. The idea behind MMiX Festival is to offer a close encounter with innovative artists presenting their latest work in the field of open-source real time digital music and performance. MMiX performers include Joshua Fried, Todd Reynolds, Luke Dubois, and DJ Rekha. The MMiX Festival is dedicated to the interplay of creativity and technology in the development of live performance. Come down and get involved.
