Ableton Presents Kid Beyond Shows and Ableton Live Clinics in Germany

KID BEYOND, the mesmerizing singer / beatboxer / live looper / songwriter / one-man vocal band will tour Europe for the first time, from March 29--April 8, with a series of shows and Ableton Live clinics.

Looping and multi-tracking his voice using Ableton Live onstage to create his own backing tracks, Kid Beyond layers his soulful, spiritual lyrics over his own beatboxing and vocal instrumentation, creating an evocative, infectiously funky brew of hip-hop / techno-flavored alt-pop.

Armed with only a microphone, a laptop, and one versatile delivery system--his mouth--Kid Beyond has been beatboxing for over twenty years and dishing out smoldering performances on tour and at his regular gig as host of the monthly San Francisco beatboxing event "The Vowel Movement." While beats are Kid Beyond's trade, he is an instrumental maestro and has a voice that seamlessly morphs into guitar, bass, keys, turntable scratches, horns, and movie samples. Using Ableton Live, Kid Beyond combines these elements, creating full-fledged compositions in real time.
